Dr. Vernon Williams leads SHRM Foundation’s programs for next generation of HR leaders and portfolio of scholarships and professional development grants. Prior to joining the SHRM Foundation, Dr. Williams spent over 20 years in Higher Education overseeing various student service units including, Conduct, Engagement, Events, Orientation, Military Services, Graduate Services, and Emergency Response at such institutions as Saint Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, PA), George Washington University (Washington, DC), and Marymount University (Arlington, VA). Dr. Williams earned his doctoral degree in Higher Education from GW, Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University in Maryland, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Morgan State University.
